On Day 7 we had an appointment for the Thermal Experience at Mysa Nordic Spa. We are admittedly not usually “spa people” but thought the DIY nature of the Thermal Experience could work for us. We arrived early to have lunch, as the food at the spa looked great on their Instagram page. We checked in, enjoyed a glass of Benjamin Bridge NV Brut and had a tasty lunch before checking out the spa grounds.

On the grounds I (Kathy) mainly stuck to the Thermal Bath, Nordic Bath and various Rest areas as the sauna was a bit too hot for me, but Jon enjoyed the Barrel Sauna and Dry Sauna as well. The spa was a great way to relax our muscles after several days of walking and we enjoyed our time at Mysa!
After Mysa we went to Confederation Trail Bike Rentals and rented a couple of e-bikes. Our plan was to ride the bikes back to 45 Steps Inn and go to Greenwich the next day. The ride to 45 Steps was fun, and only marred by one wrong turn onto a busy highway, and a bit of wind and rain in the final stretches. It was fun to mix things up a bit and travel by bike rather than walking! The e-bikes did most of the heavy lifting so the cycling was both easy and fast.

Back at 45 Steps we once again had a great meal and turned in early.
