It was time to leave Jordan Station after two memorable days, and we started the day with breakfast at Boo’s Bar & Eatery. It’s a cute diner and we had breakfast on the patio. The breakfasts were huge and the perfect thing for a long day of hiking ahead!
We had to walk a ways on roads before reaching the Bruce Trail, but they weren’t super busy and we walked by many farms and wineries.

It appears we were on a mission to get to our first stop at Tawse Winery, because I don’t have any photos of the trail, only photos of the winery, which is one of the more impressive properties we’ve seen on our travels. It has a beautiful, tranquil garden that was a lovely spot to stop after a long morning of hiking.

I have more photos of the trail after we stopped at Tawse. I found this part of the hike interesting since it passed by so many wineries. It was also an especially exciting part of the trip since we saw the site of the first Bruce Trail blaze! We exited the trail at Cave Springs Conservation Area.

Cave Spring is also a winery that we quite enjoy, so we decided to stop in for a tasting.

We still wanted to do some more hiking, but decided we had planned more than we could achieve so we got help from an Uber and drove to Hidden Bench Winery, one of our favourites in the area. While there we sampled some of their wines and noticed a sparrow nest in the patio area. We’ve become expert birders now, thanks to the Merlin app!

Our hike brought us to Pump House Gardens where we again caught an Uber to our Airbnb in Grimsby. We cleaned up and went out for some absolutely delicious Indian food at Indian Hut in downtown Grimsby. Afterward we turned in early to rest up for climbing Grimsby Mountain!
