On Day 11 we woke up at Langdon Hall, a little sad to have to leave. You can’t have any worries while you’re there; everything was absolutely perfect and I would love to return some day. It was nice that they had given us some goodies with the Grand Tasting to take home so that we could still experience some Langdon Hall magic after we’d left.
We checked out of our room and got an Uber to Kitchener GO station and made our way back to Toronto. Per tradition we had a meal at Terroni Spaccio West and then walked home to watch the Jays win big on Canada Day.
We reminisced about our trip and had some Langdon Hall tea which contained several ingredients also found in the Grand Tasting.
We made sure to save enough for one more cup someday when we are again missing the carefree vibes of LH.
Every year since we started doing these hiking trips we talk about how we are not sure we have to do one the next year, but every year we’ve changed our minds. I’m not sure what next year holds, but am sure that there will be more walking adventures to come. Until then!
